Alchemia is a unique Australian a-capella ensemble specialising in world music. Brought together by conductor, choral director and music ethnologist Beat Lehmann. Each vocalist – all highly regarded professional singers, musicians and composers from all over Australia – were invited to participate in a singing ensemble which celebrates and reinterprets the vocal music of minority ethnic communities from around the world.
