Vocalist/Songwriter/Music Educator/Mother … & all things fabric
I have been singing for as long as I can remember and enjoyed a rewarding career as a vocalist for many years. After time away from performing to raise my family, I am now relishing the opportunity to embark on the next stage of my musical and vocal journey…rediscovering my creative soul and a lyric voice I wasn’t sure existed.
I love singing and exploring all the possibilities and range of the human voice. I love music in all its forms and sharing the joy – and the transformative power – of music with others. I love experiencing the shift in energy within a space – the shift in people – brought about by a single note. The way in which music and the human voice profoundly effect, especially when one least expects it. In those moments of my bliss, I love being but a conduit and a vocal channel for all that music can be.
I love words and I am loving exploring the realm of the poet. I love fabric and all things fabric related. I love being crafty and I love that I have a day job that allows me to share in the art and treasured mementos of others.
I aim to live a creative and conscious life with grace, good humour, and with no apology. I hope that through my creative endeavours, I can bring joy, connectedness and beauty, vulnerability and wisdom, truth and thoughtfulness, to both my myself, my family and others. I am succeeding some days…..
Please enjoy my offerings….xox
Dear Kacey
We were fortunate enough to enjoy your recital this morning at the Vonda Youngman Centre, Nth Tamborine and have arrived home uplifted and exalted! What an absolute joy it was to experience your soaring voice and touching and inspirational interpretation. Andrew’s accomplished accompaniment was perfect also. Can’t believe we have just experienced world class musicianship for just $16. Where have you been all my life? Many congratulations on a superb performance – you have just acquired two new groupies. Xx
